Rokin
Rokin is a major street in Amsterdam between Muntplein (Munt square) and Damplein (Dam square).
Rembrandtplein, a main nightlife area in Amsterdam, is 250 meters from Muntplein. The most important shopping street in Amsterdam, the Kalverstraat, is just behind Rokin. With the tram it takes 7 minutes to Central Station or - into the other direction - to the Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh Museum. To Leidseplein (cafe,bars,clubs,casino) is 15-25 minutes walk.
